The Fourth of July weekend in Irvington will include a large Irvington Farmers’ Market with more than 90 vendors and a patriotic concert performed by the U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Concert Band on Saturday, July 5, on the Irvington Commons, 98 King Carter Drive.
The market will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the band concert will begin at 6 p.m. Both events are presented by the Irvington Village Improvement Association.
Now in its 25th year, the market will include food and artisan goods and local services from organizations that serve the community, said its manager, Heather Sheehan. About one-third of vendors are new each year, she added. This market will provide shoppers with the opportunity to buy specialty foods and accessories, such as linens, trays, bowls and utensils, that they can bring to the evening band concert, Sheehan noted.
