John Keith “Bussie” Callis, age 65, of Dutton, went to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 26, 2018.

Keith proudly served Callis Trucking, Inc., a family-owned business, for the last 46 years. He was an active and very involved member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church in Dutton. Outside of his love of his career, Keith’s family always came first.

Keith was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Callis Jr. He is survived by his wife, Barbara M. Callis; children, Brian Callis (Janine), Jason Callis (Kelly), and Marie Callis; grandchildren, Rylee, Lannah, Jaclyn, and Londyn. Keith is also survived by his mother, Miriam Callis; brothers, Melvin and Thomas Callis; sisters, Susan Cox and Nancy Mitchell, and several extended family members.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held for Keith at noon on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, at Locust Grove United Methodist Church in Dutton. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 10:30 a.m. until noon.  Interment to follow the service will be at Windsor Gardens Cemetery, also in Dutton.
