A viewing for Jesse J. Whiting, 74, of Gloucester, will be held from noon-2 p.m. Saturday, April 11 in Howard Funeral Home, Ark. He died April 3, 2020.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a Cheatham Annex retiree, and served as a baseball announcer for games held on Howard Field.

Survivors include his daughter, Terrie Haley; parents, Charlie and Lelia Green Whiting; brothers, Major Whiting, Maurice Whiting, Randolph Whiting and Ronnie Whiting; sisters, Maria Beale, Katherine Jarvis, Lois Whiting and Phyllis Whiting, and two grandchildren.
