Jay Bobby Hopper, 65, of North, Va., passed away on Sept. 21, 2015. He was born Nov. 19, 1949.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Hopper.

He is survived by mother, Lola Hopper; brothers, Jack Hopper and Lionel Hopper; sister, Marie Hopper; daughters, Lagail Wiles (David) and Beth Ford (Jody); grandchildren, Josh Ford, Nicholas Ford (Allison), Rusty Wiles and Gayle Anne Wiles; great-grandchildren, Sally Ford, Jason Ford, Reagan Wiles, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Bellamy United Methodist Church, 4870 Chestnut Ford Road, Gloucester, Va. 23061 at 11 a.m. Oct. 10, 2015.

A memorial fund has been set up at Chesapeake Bank to cover expenses.
