A funeral for Janie Bell Ferguson of Hallieford, was held at noon on Monday, July 10 in Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cobbs Creek. She died July 5, 2017.

She was born Feb. 14, 1930 to Turner and Hattie Caldwell of Great Falls, South Carolina. 

Survivors include a son, Mark Ferguson of Mathews; step-daughter, Angela Ferguson of Mathews; sisters, Mollie Reed of Forestville, Maryland, and Estelle Felder of Jamaica, New York; three step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Knight Funeral Home, Mathews, was in charge of the service.
