Horace Washington, a native of Gloucester, Va., and resident of Pleasant Grove, Ala., passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Connie Williams Washington; three children, Lisa of Richmond, Va., Tony of Austin, Texas, and Horace W. of Fremont, Calif.; one brother, Malvin (Paula) Washington of Gloucester; one sister, Patricia (Louis) Rose of Bradenton, Fla., and ex-wife, Elaine Moore Washington of Richmond.

A memorial service was held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Birmingham, Ala.
