The Mathews High School guidance department recently announced its honor rolls for the first quarter of the 2016-2017 school year. Students named to the Honor Roll of Excellence (all As) during the marking period were:

Seniors—Josey Bauby, Kathryn Bray, Ali Haynes, Ella Metzger, Lauren Quezada, Emily Sorey and Madison South.

Juniors—Aileigh Daniel, Reilly Price, Ashley Shackelford and Anne Stewart.

Sophomores—Kate Casper, Ashley Foster, Will Hutcheson and Noah Iveson.
