The Gloucester High School varsity football team held its season home opener against New Kent last Thursday night where it fell to the Trojans, 13-7. After Gloucester’s starting quarterback went down, Brad Bellinger took over and recorded seven carries for 45 yards and scored the Dukes’ only touchdown.
