Holy Week services continue at noon today and Friday at Westville Christian Church, Mathews. The services by sponsored by the Mathews County Ministerial Association.
The Rev. Lisa Blackmonson of Mathews Chapel United Methodist Church, Cobbs Creek, will have the special music today and the Rev. Gary Barker of Kingston Episcopal Parish, Mathews, will speak.
On Friday, Grady Brown will have the special music and the Rev. Blackmonson will preach.
Love offerings in the form of non-perishable items, cash or checks (payable to Hands Across Mathews) will be received.
In Gloucester, Holy Week services are being held at 7 p.m. through Friday at Gleaning Baptist Church, Dutton. They are sponsored by the Gloucester Union Relief Association of Missionary Baptist.
