THANKSGIVING SERVICE: The Gloucester Union Relief Missionary Baptist Association will hold its annual Thanksgiving Day service at Rising Valley Baptist Church, James Store, on Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. The Rev. Larry Arrington, pastor of First Morning Star Baptist Church, Bena, will deliver the message. Deaconess Gwendolyn Wilson of Zion Poplars Baptist Church, Gloucester, will be the worship leader. Sister Lee Rice, music director, invites all members of area churches to sing in the choir; no rehearsal. The service has been organized by a committee of Emily Sue Jones of Zion Poplars, chairperson, with Pastor James Harris of Bethel Baptist Church, Gloucester, and Pastor Donna Freeman of Morning Glory Baptist Church, Woods Cross Road.
