The Holiday Band will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, in the Concerts by the Bay series at Mathews High School. The Holiday Band was established in 1991 in Burlington, North Carolina, said a press release, and in 2015, the band was inducted into the Carolina Beach Music Hall of Fame. The award-winning group is kicking off the summer with “Good ’Ole Beach Music,” supported in part by the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the Mathews Community Foundation, said the release.
