Highway safety grant process begins soon

The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles will receive applications for highway safety grants from Feb. 1 through Feb. 28, 2022. Interested applicants are required to complete a grant application training course, with workshops beginning in January.

Grants allow law enforcement agencies, nonprofit organizations, state and local government agencies, and colleges and universities, to implement innovative programs and campaigns aimed at preventing and reducing traffic fatalities, injuries and crashes in Virginia.
