Betsy Henderson has stepped down after five years as executive director at Arts on Main, Gloucester, board chair Lynne Manning has announced. Henderson has been succeeded by interim executive director Sharon Stone.

Manning said that Henderson “presided over exponential growth, the purchase of the building on Main Street and expanded programs and events, especially the After-School Program which now includes all five elementary schools in Gloucester County.”

“No week would have been possible without the dedication of every member of the board, staff and volunteers. I am grateful to the team effort that helped create this ‘shining star’ on Main Street,” Henderson said, in a release announcing her departure.
