Henderson named Ware’s Director of Development

Jaik Henderson of Mathews has been named the Ware Academy Director of Development, Ware Head of School Tom Thomas has announced. 

Thomas said Henderson has extensive experience running nonprofit membership organizations. He has worked as an independent consultant for Chesapeake Environmental Communications, the Mathews Land Conservancy, and Arts on Main in Gloucester. 

Prior to his consulting work, Henderson was president and COO of the P. Buckley Moss Galleries in Mathews and served as the executive director of the P. Buckley Moss Society. 

Throughout his career, Henderson has specialized in fundraising for nonprofit initiatives, marketing, community outreach, brand management, strategic planning and value proposition.  His breadth of experience with fundraising, cultivation of patrons of the arts and overseeing projects which would also directly benefit the community make Henderson a perfect fit for Ware’s strategic initiatives for growth, Thomas said.&nb...
