Hairlines opened Nov. 5 at Tidemill Center, Gloucester Point. The business had previously operated for four years a couple of miles north of its present location, on Route 17 near Meineke Car Care Center.

Owner Jenn Rudolph of Perrin, offers full hair care services for men, women and children. She has over 30 years’ experience, having worked at several barber and beauty salons in Virginia and her native Connecticut.

Rudolph said she is a color specialist. A special feature of her new shop is a “color bar,” an area toward the rear of the shop where customers can watch Rudolph custom blending colors to achieve the right look for her clients.

Rudolph’s daughter, Carla Rudolph of Gloucester, is a stylist at the salon. She has two years’ hair care experience.

Rudolph said she plans to add several more stylists to the team next year.
