The Gypsy’s Wagon, a new vintage store located in Mathews, held its grand opening on Saturday, May 18. They also had a soft opening on Thursday, May 16.
The owner of the store is Valerie Kelly, who also owns the Doodlebugs Consignment Shop, and Carrie Munn is its Operations and Marketing Manager.
Kelly has been in business for 14 years, opening Doodlebugs Consignment Shop in 2010, and is very excited about the opening of The Gypsy’s Wagon.
“It’s very exciting to be on the other side of Main Street,” Kelly said. “It’s good to have two stores. If it is not in one store then it’s in the other. Lots of people are coming in and shopping.”
Munn said she is also very excited to be a part of The Gypsy’s Wagon as she continues to help out with the marketing and estate sales for Doodlebugs Consignment Shop. She will do estate sales and support marketing for both shops.
