GVFR escorting Santa through neighborhoods

Residents are encouraged to keep their eyes and ears open for the sight of flashing lights along with the sound of sirens and Christmas carols, as Santa Claus will make his way through Gloucester neighborhoods aboard one of the Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad’s fire trucks.

Santa will visit every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting) through Dec. 23.

“Santa loves to see the smiling faces of the boys and girls as he makes his way around our district, so if you see or hear him in your neighborhood be sure to come out to see him,” said GVFRS spokesperson Hanna Carson. “We also like to see how much you all enjoy his visits, and would love to share his pictures on our Facebook page.”
