Our loving mother, Guadalupe Serrano Galang, 73, of Gloucester, died Sept. 15, 2015 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Galang was born in the Philippines Dec. 12, 1941.

She enjoyed Zumba, volunteering in the church, cooking and singing karaoke. Mrs. Galang enjoyed and loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very kind lady and will be missed sadly by her family and many friends.

She is survived by her children, Edna Bauer, Arben Galang, Loida Nunag, Alma Francisco, Rosalie Devlin, Estrelita Salibio, Jenny Baruelo and Agustin Paras; her sister, Zenaida Bassilio; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A service of Christian Liturgy conducted by the Rev. James Cowles will be at held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at St. Therese Catholic Church, Gloucester.

In memory of Mrs. Galang, contributions may be given to the Theresians of St. Therese Catholic Church, 6262 Main Street, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
