Located within the 17 Plaza Shopping Center, GTown Bait-n-Tackle is Gloucester’s newest bait shop. At GTown, customers can find frozen and live bait for both fresh and saltwater, as well as any equipment one might need. Some of the brands sold at GTown are well known and recognizable such as Eagle Claw and Rapala, while others are Virginia-based brands like Killer Bee Customs.

The bait store is owned by the trio of Wesley Richie, Tracey Richie and Jeff Culler. They have also hired Lori Lumpkin as store manager. According to Tracey Richie, the three “talked about opening a bait shop and we all agreed to stop talking about it and finally put our plans into action.” She explained that the three of them, “grew up with a love for fishing” which made them want to open a shop that they feel fits all the needs a fisherman may have.
