Grateful Dead tribute band comes to Flat Iron

Reckoning, a Grateful Dead tribute, will be featured for Valentine’s Day at Flat Iron Crossroads, 7709 Flat Iron Road, Gloucester. The show is at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14. “Celebrate love and music,” said a press release. “Join us at Flat Iron Crossroads for this intimate and immersive experience.” Doors open at 6 p.m. with box meals from Nuttall’s Store and wine, beer and soft drinks from the FIX Bar available for purchase. Tickets are $35, available online at flatironcrossroads.com or at the door. Children 12 and under are free of charge. Reckoning is a faithful acoustic performance of the Grateful Dead’s Reckoning album in its entirety, said the release. It will feature some of Virginia’s finest musicians, with Louis Smith on vocals and guitar, Daniel Clarke on piano, Stewart Myers on bass, Dusty Ray Simmons on drums, Brian Jones on drums and percussion, and Willie Williams on guitar.
