Virginia Made Products, a handcrafted soap and lotion business owned and operated by Gloucester resident Virginia Shriner and her husband, Scott, will have a grand opening from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday in its new quarters at 6619 Main Street, Gloucester.
There will be door prizes, free samples, refreshments, and a 10 percent discount on all products. A ribbon cutting will be held at 11 a.m. along with Gloucester Economic Development.
Shriner makes everything from soap to laundry detergent, including bath bombs, shower steamers, lotions, facial and body scrubs, lip balms, bath butters, dog soap, and more. Seasonal soaps come in various shapes and smells—perhaps a pumpkin that smells like pumpkin spice for Halloween.
