The Dave Marchant Memorial Virginia Veterans Golf Tournament will be held on Aug. 29 at the Piankatank Golf Club in Hartfield.
The tournament is hosted by the Knights of Columbus Assembly 3349, taking the format of a four-player captain’s choice competition. It is open to all, with proceeds to benefit Virginia Veterans and families.
Team prizes will be awarded in each of three flights and golfers will also compete for individual prizes, a release said. The entry fee is $100 per player, and includes use of the practice range, golfcart rental, greens fees, on-course beverages, and dinner in the Steamboat Restaurant.
Registration will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start at noon.
