Lee Gonzalez, vice president of Gloucester Toyota, was named to the “40 Under 40” list by Automotive News, an automotive industry weekly newspaper.

The list recognizes 40 new car dealership operators under age 40 from throughout the United States and Canada, Gonzalez said. She does not know who nominated her for the award.

Gonzalez, 34, said she is very proud to be recognized by Automotive News. After being nominated, she received a lengthy survey of her background that she completed in April and learned of her being selected for the “40 Under 40” award in June. The 40 people selected for the honor were profiled in the July 14 issue of Automotive News.

Gonzalez said she was selected both for her automotive industry experience and her community involvement.
