Gloucester County Treasurer Tara Thomas announced that the first installment of real estate and personal property tax bills will be in the mail the week of June 14. Tax bills are due June 30.

However, the Board of Supervisors will hold a special called meeting on Monday, June 21 to consider a delay in the assessment and accrual of penalty and interest on the first installment of the bills until August 3. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Colonial Courthouse on Main Street. It will be broadcast live on the County’s Cable Channel 48 and will be streamed live through the County’s meeting portal at gloucesterva.info/640/Meeting-Portal.

Upon receipt, taxpayers should check their bills for completeness. Real estate and personal property bills may be mailed in the same envelope if the names of the owners and address are identical.
