The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors tackled two public hearings and an Arts District proposal during a meeting held Tuesday night in the colonial courthouse. Supervisors voted unanimously to accept the zoning ordinance amendments in reference to livestock, stables, day care centers and other minor items and clarifications as presented by Director of Planning, Zoning & Environmental Programs Anne Ducey-Ortiz. These updates were recommended by the Planning Commission. Two additions in the livestock and stables definitions were approved to reflect that livestock includes horses and that horses are permitted in the SF-1 (single family) district under the use, “stables, private.” Another change was made to clarify that data centers will not be regulated under manufacturing. “Manufacturing does not include digital data,” said Ducey-Ortiz.
