The Gloucester Ruritan Club held its monthly meeting recently at Anna’s Italian Pizza Restaurant. Here, club president Henry Thompson (aka Hurricane) presented club mugs to Stephanie Dean Ripchick, at right, and her daughter Hannah for their presentations about their family-run farm/agritourism business in eastern New Kent County. Holly Fork Farm is open seasonally and offers chemical-free strawberries and blackberries, pumpkin picking, farm animals, farm camps, and educational experiences for visitors of all ages. Hannah started her own business, Southern Grace Farm located on Holly Fork Farm, last year which is a six-acre corn maze success. Stephanie and members of the King and Queen Farm Bureau Women’s Committee recently spearheaded the first Ag Day Festival held in King and Queen County.
