There are lots of activities for fun this summer; here are a few choices.
BEST YEARS TRIP: Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism is sponsoring a Best Years Trip to Bowlero Bowling on Wednesday, July 23, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This trip includes 1.5 hours of bowling, shoes, balls, automatic scoring, pizza slice, unlimited non-alcohol drinks. Come have some summer fun in the air conditioning with your friends. The fee is $40 and the deadline to register is today, Thursday, July 10.
KARATE: Gloucester PRT is sponsoring karate for ages 4 and older on Mondays and Thursdays at T.C. Walker from June 23-Aug. 11 or June 26-Aug. 14. Four classes are offered for students of all levels, including a family class where adults and youth work together to learn. Fees are $35-$45 and the deadline to register is July 10.
PARK AFTER DARK: Park After Dark will be held from 8-11 p.m. Friday at Beaverdam Park, 8687 Roaring Springs Road. You may participate in self-guided hiking, biking and boating. You...
