Gloucester museum to hold Community Quilt Workshop

The Fine Arts Museum of Gloucester invites the public to join in the creation of a community quilt in a workshop being offered from 4:30-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, at the museum on Gloucester Main Street.
Led by Steve Prince, Gloucester County’s director of community engagement and artist-in-residence at the Muscarelle Museum in Williamsburg, the Community Quilt Workshop is free of charge, with all materials provided. No experience is necessary.
“Tell your story through fabric,” said an email from the museum. “From butterflies and music notes to words of faith and hope, beehives and blooming gardens, each square becomes part of something bigger.”
The museum is located at 6894 Main Street, Gloucester. It is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday....
