Gloucester Knights take on Poquoson Bulls

The Gloucester Knights of the Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer league took on teams of the Poquoson Bulls.The Mighty Mites fell to the Bulls in what coach Damion Stokes called a tough loss. Stokes said the offense was led by Durrell Daisy the who had nine carries for 103 yards, 80 coming from an impressive touchdown run. Defensively it was Ethan Stotts who led the team, recording seven tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery.

The Mini Mites fared no better against the Bulls, losing 25-0. Coach William Broughman named Carter Wilson the Offensive MVP who recorded a total of 30 rushing yards. Defensive MVP was Donnie Wolford who recorded six tackles.

Cheerleaders

The Minis cheerleader named Most Spirited was Cristy Hawthorne and Best Technique was given to Nylah Banks.

The Mites cheerleaders given Most Spirited was Aslynn Gardner and Best Technique went to Reenesme Fowler.
