For its exemplary record of leadership, service and activities that improve the school and community, the Gloucester High School Student Council Association has been recognized as a 2024 National Council of Excellence by the National Association of Student Councils. The NASC program is supported by its parent organization, the National Association of Secondary School Principals.

The GHS SCA led the school in multiple spirit and motivational activities this school year, including homecoming, pep rallies and welcoming students to school on Mondays with a variety of “Motivational Monday” activities.

Additionally, the SCA has shown appreciation for the staff through gifts of recognition. The organization also took part in a community service project by collecting winter wear items for the homeless.
