Gloucester defeats Kecoughtan, Phoebus

The Gloucester High School girls’ varsity basketball team beat Kecoughtan, 62-16, at home Friday and kept the winning streak going on Tuesday, crushing Phoebus, 61-27.
In the lopsided win over Kecoughtan, Lauren Hall led Gloucester with 16 points (the same number of points as the entire Warriors’ squad). Kenna Keyes and Zebe Rhodes also ended the night in double digits with 10 points apiece. Other scorers included Maria Lisi with eight points, Cici Roye with seven points, Cody Brown with six points, Marlo Jenkins with three points and Kylie Fisk with two points.
In the second dominating win of the week, Rhodes led the Lady Dukes with 18 points. Lisi finished the night with 13 points. Other scorers include Keyes and Hall with eight points each, Fisk with five points, Jenkins with three points and Brown, Roye and Erin Bell with two points each.
The Lady Dukes will play again at home on Friday night against Bethel.
