Gloucester continues losing streak

The Gloucester High School basketball program faced a tough week, with both varsity teams falling to Bethel and Kecoughtan at home.

The GHS boys’ varsity team fell to Bethel, 70-35, Friday night. The Dukes scored only five points in the first quarter and 21 in the first half.

Kecoughtan

The Gloucester girls’ team fell Tuesday night to Kecoughtan, 51-20. The game ended early before the completion of the fourth quarter due to an altercation on the court between players.

Following the Lady Dukes game, the boys’ team faced Kecoughtan and lost to the Warriors, 93-47.
