The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its Oct. 15 meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center.
Carrie McDaniels of Gloucester was appointed as a second grade teacher at Bethel Elementary, effective Sept. 16, and Jo Anne Layden was appointed as a special education teacher at Peasley Middle School, effective Sept. 30.
Also, Anne Patullo of Gloucester was appointed as the school nurse at Peasley, effective Sept. 23.
Appointed to support services positions were Sarah Dines, Daniel Walsh and Shelly Park, all of Glou-
cester; and Diane Hearl, Amy Daniel, Amber Rodriguez and Jennifer Whitley, all of Hayes.
In addition, the board approved retirement for Achilles Elementary special education teacher Deborah Hoover, effective Nov. 1, and support services employee Terri Miller, effective Oct. 1.
