Girls State, Boys State

Gloucester High School will send several students to the Virginia Girls State and Boys State of the American Legion Auxiliary programs this summer. Pictured in top photo are this year’s GHS Girls State representatives, from left, Jaidyn Forrest (2021 Virginia Girls State Governor), Kaylyn Stukes, Makaela Tilley, Charlotte Lasseigne, Danni Knott and Carolyn Vasta (President of the American Legion Auxiliary Gloucester Unit 75). Not pictured are Mara Collier and Kamila Miles. Forrest will return this year to preside over Girls State until the new governor is elected.
