The Gloucester High School varsity softball team beat Kecoughtan on the road Tuesday night, 16-7. The Lady Dukes had 17 hits and a total of five home runs.

Jayanna Richardson and Makayla Hernandez each hit a home run in the second inning. Samantha Carlton hit a three-run home run in the third inning and Haley Hardaway also hit a home run in the same inning. In the sixth inning, Hardaway hit a home run over the centerfield fence.

Kaia Hutton had three hits and three RBIs; Chicky Boles added two hits and three RBIs. Gloucester will play at home tonight against Kecoughtan.
