GHS boys best Kecoughtan

The Gloucester High School boys’ cross country team beat Kecoughtan last Wednesday, Sept. 29, at home with a score of 26.

Tyler Hicks came in first overall with a time of 19:17, followed by Joel Taylor (20:50) and Ian Waters (21:01). Braden Enoch ran a 21:39, followed by Chandler Howlett (JV) (21:41), Ethan Gardiner (22:17), Michael Asnicar (22:39), Karl Dean (JV) (22:40), Pace Peterson (24:25), Jacob Poulin (25:13), Erik Waters (JV) (25:13) and Dominic Turner (26:31).For the girls, Mackenzie Alcorn came in first for Gloucester and second overall with a time of 27:11. Abby Brown was the only other runner for the GHS girls’ team, finishing the meet with a time of 28:57.
