The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Virginia will hold a virtual meeting at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The meeting will feature a roundtable discussion at which participants may share details about their family research. Family historians from around the country have traced their roots to Virginia’s Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck, said a press release, and this meeting will afford those persons a chance to share resources and research techniques that have been used successfully.
Participants may share surnames and places with other researchers, and all interested persons are encouraged to use the organization’s surnames list, providing the family names they are researching for the purpose of exchanging information with other researchers. The list can be found at www.mpaagenealogicalsociety.org/surnames.html
To receive an invitation to this virtual meeting, call 804-651-8753.
