Genealogy group to meet Saturday

The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Virginia will hold a virtual meeting at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Participants, including family historians from around the country with roots in Virginia’s Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck, will be able to make queries and share details such as surnames and places about their family research. They may also propose future meeting topics and suggest organizational goals for 2022.

All interested persons are encouraged to access and add to the organization’s surnames list at www.mpaagenealogicalsociety.org/surnames.html.
