Genealogy group meets virtually Saturday

The Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society of Virginia will meet virtually at 11 a.m. Saturday.

The meeting will include a roundtable discussion at which participants will have the opportunity to share queries and details about their family research.

Family historians from around the country have traced their roots to Virginia’s Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck. Researchers will be able to share surnames, places, resources, and research techniques with each other.

Those wishing to pay dues may visit mpaagenealogicalsociety.org or mail checks to MPAAGHS, 4114 Tidewater Trail, Jamaica, Va. 23079. Checks should be made payable to MPAAGHS.
