The next two issues of the Gazette-Journal will come out after the holidays of Christmas and New Year’s Day, which both fall on Wednesdays.

We will prepare the Dec. 26 paper before closing at noon on Christmas Eve, and return to work early on Thursday, Dec. 26 to print and distribute the paper.

The deadlines are noon Monday for classified and legal ads, church news, and social notices, and at 4 p.m. Monday for all other material. Real estate ads are due by noon Friday and all other display ads by 3 p.m. Friday.

For the first issue of 2020, on Thursday, Jan. 2, deadlines will be the same as above. We will prepare the newspaper on New Year’s Eve and print and distribute very early on Thursday, Jan. 2. For more information, please call 804-693-3101. ...
