Christchurch School senior Alexis Foster, daughter of Shannon McCook and Antonio Foster of Gloucester, was named to the VISAA Division II Second Team All-State in basketball. The CCS girls’ basketball team finished the 2025-2026 season ranked sixth in the VISAA Division II, making it all the way to the state quarterfinals, where they fell to #2-ranked Norfolk Christian School. Foster was one of three captains on this year’s Seahorse team, with Sienna Rowe of Urbanna, and Avery Thomas of Cobbs Creek, sharing captain duties.
