Leslie D. Floyd is the new manager of EVB’s bank branch on Route 17 south of Gloucester Court House.
Floyd began in her new position March 1. She began working for EVB as a teller in 2006, previously working for a bank in Idaho and managing a movie rental store.
EVB is a full-service community bank based in Tappahannock. As manager Floyd is supported by an assistant manager, three tellers and a customer service representative.
Besides traditional banking services, Floyd said, EVB has specialists who can assist clients with various insurance and investment needs.
Floyd resides in Gloucester with her husband, Bo, who works for the U.S. Department of Defense. They have three children: two daughters live in Texas and their son Zachary resides in Gloucester.
Kristine Emerson is the assistant manager, a position she’s held for about a year.
