Firehouse Dog Grooming on Church Street in Mathews offers bathing, nail trimming, and haircuts for all breeds of dogs. Owner Miki Trexler, at right, said she has 12 years of experience as a dog groomer. She said she was certified as a groomer through a major pet supply chain in 2007 and has since then worked at various pet supply businesses and has operated her own grooming business.
