“Hidden Objects,” an exhibit featuring artworks in which objects are hidden, opens with a reception from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at the Bay School Community Arts Center, Mathews. Participating artists each hid two objects in their artwork, said a press release, one that was the artist’s choice and one that was assigned. Entries consist of a wide range of media, including fiber, assemblage, hanging art, wearables, 3-D, paintings, pottery, multimedia, collage, and jewelry. “Creative and clever methods of hiding will make this a fun show for gallery visitors,” said a press release. The reception will include a visitor activity, a free visitor raffle, drinks, and finger foods. Offers will be available for gallery visitors from local restaurants Mathews Grill & Deli, Mi Casa Azteca, and The Seafood Shack. The exhibit will be on display through April 20.
