Fantasy Faerie Tea sparkles at Bay School

The announcement read, “Bring your favorite tea cup and enjoy a full afternoon tea with a woodland Faerie theme.” By popular demand, the second Faerie Tea event was held at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews over the summer.
Jennifer Schroeder, an artist who has been with the center for six years and teaches several art classes, explained, “I used to hold these types of teas at my home for friends and associates. They are so much fun and so magical.” Believing others would also enjoy this, Jennifer suggested to Pam Doss, Bay School’s director, that the center might like sponsoring a Faerie Tea. “The tea is geared to adults although children may attend.”
Hot or cold tea is served with a menu that reads: Glimmer Garden Cucumbers, Puck’s Chicken Pixie Pouch, Fancy Fae Mozzy Bites, Titania’s Rainbow Veggie Faerie Kisses, Sugar Sprite Cookies, Pixie Fruit Pix Faerie Cakes, and Woodland Wands.
