Entries sought for Bay School’s Art Speaks show

A call for entries has been issued for the 2026 Art Speaks Juried Exhibition, to be held April 25 to May 5 at the Bay School Community Arts Center in Mathews. The show is open to any artist living in Virginia or with a working studio in Virginia who is at least 18 years of age. The deadline for entries is March 1, with the opening reception and awards ceremony to be held on April 25. Original works completed since January 2023 that have not been shown or are not markedly similar to work shown in a previous Art Speaks exhibition will be accepted. AI-produced work is not permitted. All painting and drawing media, fiber art, mixed media and printmaking, fine art photography, and digital art are eligible for the 2D category. Ceramic, glass, wood or metal functional ware, sculpture in any media, and fiber art are eligible in the 3D category.
