Editorial: Support small business

Every small business starts out with an idea, a plan, and great hopes. And every small business contributes more than its weight to the well-being of the community in which it operates, employs others, provides services, and pays taxes.

Opening a small business is a risky gamble, and truly, many cannot make it. But taking the risk, and reaping the rewards, illustrates perfectly the power behind the American economy and way of life. We are free to take the risk, to be entrepreneurs, to ignite the effervescent goals of putting our ideas into action, being our own bosses, supporting our families, and gaining recognition as significant players in our communities. Success multiplies the benefits to all.
