Important voter information
On Nov. 4, less than four weeks from today, local voters will select a governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, and delegates to the Virginia General Assembly. They also will elect members of the board of supervisors and school board in Gloucester and Mathews.
And if you, the reader, are not yet registered to vote, you must do so by Friday, Oct. 24. That’s the same deadline for requesting an absentee ballot by mail.
Early voting has already started. You can vote ahead of the Nov. 4 election at the Gloucester or Mathews elections office through Saturday, Nov. 1.
