Dine & Donate

Your Pie, which opened earlier this month in Gloucester’s Fox Mill Centre, raised more than $2,500 for the food services programs in Gloucester and Mathews schools during its Dine & Donate event, which was held during its opening week. Gloucester County Public Schools Food Services Department received $1,954.15, which was the exact balance of its unpaid student meal accounts. The accounts for 461 students were paid off as a result of this donation. Over $600 remaining was donated to the Mathews County Public Schools Food Services Department to be used for two programs: $200 went to the Mathews County Meals on Wheels program which is run out of the Mathews High School cafeteria and supplies meals to elderly residents. The remaining money went to stocking a pantry in Mathews High School. The pantry supplies identified high school students with nutritious snack foods and personal hygiene items.
