Deltas sweep weekend series

A week after suffering their first season-opening loss in over six years, the Deltaville Deltas rebounded to sweep both games of their weekend series. The Deltas took down the defending league champions, Richmond El Heaters, by the score of 10-1 on Saturday night in Deltaville, and pulled away late to defeat the Richmond River Dogs, 19-10, on Sunday afternoon in Chesterfield.

With the wins, Deltaville improves its record to 2-1 on the young season.

Deltaville returns to action with just one game this weekend, a home matchup with the Richmond Avalanche on Saturday night at Deltaville Ballpark. First pitch is set for 7:30.
